The girls basketball game will begin at 5:45 tonight at the high school Gym. Dear Families, We are writing to inform you that a Mossyrock School District student was recently involved in a traffic accident. We have implemented protocols to respond and help our students and their families during this time. Students and staff will react differently to circumstances of this nature, so it will be important to have support available to assist students in need. We will have extra counseling support available in the school to help students as they express their feelings related to this issue. If you feel your child needs special assistance or is having difficulty coping with the situation, please do not hesitate to call.  We have included a few places (for your reference) to help you to support your child if needed. While it is important to deal with any disbelief, anxiety, and fearful reactions, we believe it is essential to maintain a normal routine as much as possible at this time regarding school activities. Hey Viking Families! From work, to home, to school, our phones are a key tool to navigate and communicate throughout the day. The custom-built Vikings app makes it easy for your families to stay up to date with district news and events. Now, Vikings is making it easier for families to stay in touch with teachers and class information from that same app. Using the Vikings app families can easily switch from district and school information to Rooms, where they can see their student’s classes and engage directly with teachers. Rooms can be accessed via the web and from our district app, which is available for free and can be used from both Apple and Android phones. Reminder to all parents of Little Vikings basketball players, the first week of basketball is this coming Saturday, January 4th at 9am in the high school gym.

Facility Use Procedures Our district is implementing a new procedure to request using Mossyrock School District's facilities. Please follow these steps for all requests. 1. All facility use forms will start with pick up from the HIGH SCHOOL OFFICE, no matter what space is being requested. 2. We will confirm that the dates and times requested are available. If not, we will contact the requestor and let them know. 3. There will be a two-week turnaround time for approval. APPROVAL IS NOT IMMEDIATE NOR IS IT GUARANTEED WITH FORM SUBMITTAL. 4. The requestor will be contacted for deposit and key pick-up once the request is approved. 5. Facilities requests are ONLY VALID for 90 days. At that time, they will need to be requested again if they want to continue the usage.

Lunch is Served ( Breakfast too!) We are happy to announce that the Kitchen will be serving Breakfast and Lunch again when we return on Jan. 6th.

The Mossyrock Grange is hosting Breakfast with Santa this Saturday, Dec 14, 2024 from 9:00-11:00 am. The cost is by donation. Mossyrock Grange está organizando desayuno con Santa este Sábado, Diciembre 14, 2024 de 9:00-11:00 am. El costo es por donaciones.
